Manila, Philippines – Taking over the top spots on the US Billboard album and singles charts this week are Beyoncé, with her brand new album “4,” and hip hop duo LMFAO’s single “Party Rock Anthem,” respectively.

Beyoncé moved 310,000 units of her brand new solo album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200. This is Beyoncé’s fourth solo set and also her fourth straight chart topping debut. Beyoncé is only the third solo artist, as well as the second solo female act, to debut four albums straight to number one. Britney did the feat between 1999 and 2003, and rapper DMX did it five times in a row between 1998 and 2003.

Meanwhile, on the singles chart, after spending weeks hovering at the number three spot, hip hop duo LMFAO finally secures the top post on the Hot 100 with “Party Rock Anthem” featuring Lauren Bennett and Goonrock. The duo likewise garners this week’s top Digital Songs chart honors by selling 258,000 downloads of the same track. LMFAO is composed of DJ Redfoo and Skyblu a.k.a. Stefan Gordy and Skyler Gordy, son and grandson of Motown founder Berry Gordy, respectively.

Meanwhile, pushed down to number two is last week’s chart topper “Give Me Everything” by Pitbull featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer. Also moving down a notch is the seven-week topper “Rolling In The Deep” by Adele, which settles at the number three spot.

Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass,” Lady Gaga’s “The Edge Of Glory,” and another Katy Perry track, “E.T.” featuring Kanye West, all retain last week’s postion at numbers four, five, six and seven, respectively.

Moving up two notches from ten to eight is rapper Lil Wayne with “How To Love.” Also making the jump from number 18 to nine is the Ryan Tedder-led act, One Republic, which breaks in to the top ten with the “Good Life.”
