Tapdancing Brothers and Acoustic Heartthrob, Hailed 5th and 6th Grand Finalists of ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’

Great awe and amazement, with some giggle on the sides, filled the jampacked PAGCOR theater for the third results night of the country’s number one talent-reality show “Pilipinas Got Talent.”

The crowd cheered for the tapdancing act of brothers Ramonito and Lourdito, who call themselves “Happy Feet,” as they were hailed 5th grand finalist after topping the overnight text polls.

Meanwhile, it was a match up of both talent and charm for Jem Cubil and Collins Gutierrez, who placed 2nd and 3rd respectively on text votes. The Big Three judges made a unanimous decision in the end, and all voted for Jem’s better vocal prowess and undeniable charisma. The two acts will now advance to the grand final alongside other grand finalists to be named in the coming weeks.
PGT continues to be the country’s number one reality-talent show. Last Saturday, PGT scored a national TV rating of 25% versus rival shows “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” (16.2%) and “Talentadong Pinoy” (6.5%). It also ruled last Sunday when the show rated at 21.7% nationally versus “Mel & Joey” (15.5%), according to Kantar Media/TNS.

This Saturday (May 21), who among semi-finalists (clockwise, L-R) Filogram, Maribeth Callanta, John Michael Narag, Genevieve Arandia, Next Generation Band, and First Beat Effect will make to to the finals?
